- Cook the plums for 10 minutes on medium heat – this helps soften the plums and concentrate the flavor
- Let cool 15 minutes
- Blend the plums with lemon juice and agave syrup until smooth
- Pour into a parchment-lined baking sheet – spread evenly – about 1/4 inch – might make two pans depending on size of the pan
- Dehydrator Option:
- Set dehydrator to 135F
- Dry for 6-7 hours
- Check for doneness – it should be dry to the touch, flexible, and easy to peel
- Oven Option:
- Set oven to the lowest temperature (usually 150F)
- Prop the door open slightly with a wooden spoon
