How to Make the Best Lavashak

  1. Wash, pit, and roughly chop the plums
  2. Cook the plums for 10 minutes on medium heat – this helps soften the plums and concentrate the flavor
  3. Let cool 15 minutes
  4. Blend the plums with lemon juice and agave syrup until smooth
  5. Pour into a parchment-lined baking sheet – spread evenly – about 1/4 inch – might make two pans depending on size of the pan
  6. Dehydrator Option:
    • Set dehydrator to 135F
    • Dry for 6-7 hours
    • Check for doneness – it should be dry to the touch, flexible, and easy to peel
  7. Oven Option:
    • Set oven to the lowest temperature (usually 150F)
    • Prop the door open slightly with a wooden spoon
    • Dry for 6+ hours
    • Check for doneness – it should be dry to the touch, flexible, and easy to peel
