Ingredients

Scale
6-8 plums pitted and chopped (roughly 3 cups) 1 tsp lemon juice 1-2 Tbsp agave syrup

Instructions

  1. Wash, pit, and roughly chop the plums
  2. Cook the plums for 10 minutes on medium heat – this helps soften the plums and concentrate the flavor
  3. Let cool 15 minutes
  4. Blend the plums with lemon juice and agave syrup until smooth
  5. Pour into a parchment-lined baking sheet – spread evenly – about 1/4 inch – might make two pans depending on size of the pan

Dehydrator Option:

  1. Set dehydrator to 135F
  2. Dry for 6-7 hours
  3. Check for doneness – it should be dry to the touch, flexible, and easy to peel

Oven Option:

  1. Set oven to the lowest temperature (usually 150F)
  2. Prop the door open slightly with a wooden spoon
  3. Dry for 6+ hours
  4. Check for doneness – it should be dry to the touch, flexible, and easy to peel
