Description

How to use saffron threads in Persian cooking 


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 tsp. ground saffron
  • 1/2 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Grind saffron threads until you have 1/2 tsp of ground saffron.
  2. Add the ground saffron threads to a jar with 1/2 cup of hot water. 
  3. Cover the lid of the jar and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. 
  4. Use as needed in recipes, and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
