2 Days to Eat our Way through LA. So much food, so little time. LA is truly a vegan oasis! So many restaurants in a 2 mile radius! Vegan Bastani - Persian Ice Cream - filled with flavors of Iran 🇮🇷 Rosewater, Pistachio and Saffron Had designer donuts and taught a lesson on kindness today. If you have ever looked at kids’ materials on kindness, they often refer to kindness to animals. Yet, we teach kids it’s normal to kill 7 billion land animals. To exploit them for testing, entertainment, their skin and secretions. Our “kindness to animals” extends to cute animals. To exotic animals. To pets. Happy Meatless Monday (Everyday)! I was talking to a mom recently who was telling me she worried her kid didn’t like to eat meat. I told her my 3 kids have never eaten meat and are healthy and thriving. We can live healthy lives on a plant-based, well-balanced diet. It just requires effort. And there are SO many blogs and resources to make it easier than ever! Help the planet, save animals, and feel great! Recyclable plastics are labeled with numbers 1-7 to tell what kind of plastic it is, and how it should be processed. This helps recycling facilities determine which plastic they will accept and which they will put in the trash.
